The web site you are
nominating must be a genealogy web site that has individuals
with the Ratzenberger surname, a website that contains specific
information on the Ratzenberger surname, or be a website that
has interesting information on an individual(s) with the
Ratzenberger surname.
-
If the site is a
genealogical web site, it must contain useful genealogical
content. The site should help researchers! Content is the most
critical criterion.
-
Attractive presentation and
good organization - although content is most important, winning
Web sites must be presented in such an appealing way that
visitors will be attracted to the excellent content.
Organization of the web site that facilitates the visitor
finding what he/she is looking for is important.
-
Attention to detail - While
anyone can make a typographical error (myself included), the
content must be accurate.
-
The nominated web site must
be suitable for all ages (must be tasteful and absolutely no
offensive material allowed). Prejudicial, violent and/or
adult-only content will make a site ineligible.
-
Not just links for links
sake - useful links to relevant resources. Winning pages are
likely to be bookmarked by Web-utilizing genealogists as good
starting points in research projects.
-
Interesting graphics and/or
photos.
-
The address you submit MUST
be the same as where the Award will appear.
-
Sites eligible for my award
must share Ratzenberger genealogical information and/or other
interesting Ratzenberger information with others, be set up
nicely, user friendly, without broken/outdated links and be in
good taste.
-
Sites that automatically
redirect to me to sites that I have no interest in visiting will
automatically be disqualified. Although I am against pop-up
boxes, I understand that with some free web servers, this is
unavoidable.
-
Not all nominated sites are
eligible for my award.
-
My graphic is prohibited
from appearing on anyone's web site without my written
permission (e-mail message from me).
-
Although signing my
guestbook is not required, it would be nice!
